Larger than you think... I have a 15.4" wide screen laptop and while it did not fit in the padded compartment, it did (barely) fit in the main compartment with a sleeve on, which is good enough for me. I had originally bought the bag as a camera bag (bad as camera bag), but may work as an overnight bag or a carry on bag. Still it's very cute and very well made and looks like it will last me longer than my new laptop. As always, you can't beat Logohoo for price and service, love them...
